Nabil Hayat returns with his Destrand EP where he delivers 4 new cuts - First up sees the EP start of slow into more deep dubby territory where the synth stabs and eerie enchanting vocals interwine with each other to form Exiting. Next up is bass heavy Ciaga - with deep bass lines - hypnotic grooves, percussion to match and elements that come and go in between the pitched down vocals and synth lines. Then comes the self titled Destrand which is designed for more peak time action with cleaver use of delays and reverbs, filtered atmospheric synths and effects that drift in and out before the heavy groove and solid distorted kick drums reminiscent to classic styles. Last is P2 where you could find yourself sweating it out into the early morning hours in some bunker -Just the way we like it - Staying true to the tradition this cut sees Nabil Hayat bringing both rough, smooth and tough elements similar to some of the early Chicago classics.
